Ma’s Lei Stand Bar & Grill gave me the joy of eating at the mall again. Located in Rolling Oaks Mall food court on the second level, the service is warm like family. Lin made sure my selections were safe for me with my gluten sensitivity and they went the extra mile to use gluten free protocols in their kitchen including cleaning equipment. I enjoyed the kālua pork with steamed cabbage, white sticky rice and watermelon. It is by far the most flavorful kālua pork I have had on mainland U.S.A. Cabbage and the pork were served piping hot, which meant it was hot till the very last bite and I appreciated that. The watermelon was chosen with care and perfectly ripe. I paired the meal with the Maui sweet tea, which is fresh brewed tea with mango juice served on ice. I later went back and ordered a plantation tea, which was fresh brewed tea with pineapple juice also served on ice. Extra points in my book for letting me fill up my existing cup and not need to use a second one - few places do that anymore. I took mine to-go as I was manning a Starfleet international booth for the Speed of Light Convention but they had ample seats and tables in their dining area. The space is clean and employ

The absolute best with the friendliest Aloha vibes around. The food brings true Local Hawaiian cuisine to the area with amazing flavors and the decor makes you forget that you are not actually on island. Highly recommend. Thank you for your excellent services and food. I will surely be there overtime I am in San Antonio.

They put a lot of heart into the ambiance. The katsu chicken was crispy and juicy inside. I loved the spicy kimchi. I recommend giving them a try. The lady who took my order was engaging and was interested in my needs as I dined inside. Very friendly people.

Such an enjoyable experience!! My friend and I came by on a whim and decided to try it out. Everything we tasted was absolutely delicious, hot, and fresh! The rice was warm and sticky, while the flavor was plain, it was perfect for the salty and savory chicken. The coconut creamed corn didn’t quite have a coconut taste, which I was hoping for, but it was tasty nonetheless. My friend tried the kimchi and coconut shrimp and was absolutely pleased. The kind lady with pink hair (I forgot her name) was very kind and told us all about the events they have coming up! I highly recommend visiting and I can’t wait to come back for more!

Very friendly owners with a great Hawaiian spot! Hui hui Chicken was awesome, Mac Salad was the best so far from trying at various Hawaiian spots! $13! Go check it out, great price, food, and people!
